These Kaku Obi are made here in Kyoto using the Nishijin style of weaving - Nishijin is where we are based so these are sourced from the heart of Japan's traditional Kimono culture.

Kaku Obi are a stiff thin style of traditional belt worn with a Kimono. Initially worn by men, it has found use in traditional martial arts for securing swords, aiding breathing, and complimenting your Chakuso. Most often used in Iaido, but also in Kendo and Koryu practice. Approximately 390cm by 9.5cm.
