Minosaka Jidai Koshirae Wakizashi

If you are a beginner looking for a good quality Iaito in a reasonable price range, this Jidai Koshirae is a good choice. It features quality fittings and is made by hand in Minosaka's workshop in Gifu prefecture. The blade is made of a lightweight, reinforced zinc/aluminum alloy.

The Koshirae is also available as a simple wakizashi that compliments and matches its larger version of Iaito. Perfect for practitioners who practice Shoto kata alongside their Daito curriculum. This Koshirae matches the fittings used in the Minosaka Jidai Koshirae Iaito and is meant to be a pair.

Please note that this is not a suitable Shoto for Kendo kata, the blades are made from a lightweight zinc/aluminum alloy that is not suitable for contact kata.

Both swords are available together as a Daisho set.
