This makes it perfect for those with a larger waist or hips to maintain a great silhouette! No more worries about the pleats spreading wide open and creating a less-than-dignified "chakuso." As almost all standard-size hakama are made for waists of up to 95cm, many individuals abroad may find wearing these hakama a bit troublesome.
