Furinkazan - Smoked Dobari Shinai

The Furinkazan is a Dobari style of Shinai, made with smoked bamboo. Smoking the bamboo increases the durability of the Shinai and also gives it a beautiful, dark brown finish compared to a normal shinai. Dobari-style Shinai have a broader body that shifts the center of gravity towards the handle; this makes it feel lighter at the tip.
