Byakko - Satsuma Koshirae - Habahiro Iaito

The Byakko - Satsuma Koshirae Iaito features imagery famous throughout the Satsuma domain, which is now Kagoshima prefecture, on the Fuchi and Kashira, as well as sporting a practical iron Tsuba. Instead of the standard Same (sting-ray skin) which is used on the Tsuka, this Iaito is wrapped with cow leather and does not have any Menuki, giving it a simple and elegant look. The blade is sand cast and has a bubble-free 'Habahiro' heavy-weight feature with a zinc/aluminum alloy blade. Available up to 2.70 shaku in length.
