The Story
Proudly made in our Akamu wooden weapons workshop, these bokuto are created using the tried and true solid white oak. Resilient and long lasting, white oak has long been the go-to for all forms of wooden weapons in traditional Japanese martial arts and koryu styles. White oak is not only very strong, it is also beautiful - with its ivory to creamy white color and very dense grains, it is easy to see why white oak has long been sought for creating the best wooden training weapons Japan has to offer.
